Step #1: CHECK YOUR VOTER STATUS
Check your voter status to make sure you are registered and your address is correct.
The deadline to register to vote in state and federal elections is 10 days before the election. For more information, check out the Secretary of State’s voter information website. Voters may register in person at the Office of the Town Clerk or on the Secretary of State’s website.
Step #2: Decide how you will vote
There are 3 ways you can vote in MA:
Vote in-person on election day.
Vote in-person during early voting (not available for town election).
Vote by mail or via absentee ballot.

You may apply for your ballot online, by mail, by email or by fax. Please contact the Cohasset Town Clerk to apply by email or fax.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Absentee ballots, for which you must meet certain requirements to use, are available for all elections.
If you choose to Vote by Mail (application required) ballots should be handed in to the Town Clerk’s office, mailed by USPS or put in the official drop box at Town Hall at 41 Highland Avenue.
